i never talked about radio silence until 1.0 from now on. my simple point being that EA means unfinished by definition, but it also means we will get more stuff to test and try, thats also in the nature of things.
so why whine after every update that we did not get A or B? we got C instead and improvements of X and Y. we get new things and we will be getting more new things to try.
and from streamers and other i talked to i just know for a fact they did not stop to play because there is no new content, they stopped because they do NOT want to be drip fed and will return when the game is done.
what this game needs is constructive feedback, improvement of mechanics, fixing of crashes and bugs. it was amazing to see how much it helped to fix crashes for so many people by just keeping topics together in 1 thread, sending videos and logfiles and actually give constructive feedback.
“i want more lollies” is not constructive feedback. constructive feedback are things like there that get burried in the forum behind 20 “i want more” posts and might just be overlooked:
and so so many more. what is the point in yelling into the crowd how much u want new stuff, but actually concrete and good ideas get burried in posts that do not suggest anything constructive but just demand things without ideas?
imagine we get all the things i listed above, and that just a small portion… that in my book is enough “content” to test without getting more story or new maps. it would be enough to test and iron out for months while the team can work on new story content for everyone to enjoy later.
