Weapons requirement issue/suggestion

No im not talking about RNG :face_with_raised_eyebrow: Anyways here you have the two patches that i was refering to:

”Weapon Scaling Rework”

“Prior to The Breach update, damage gained from weapon upgrades would add to damage gained from attributes. This meant that you could have a fully upgraded weapon with 0 attributes in the scaling stat for that weapon and it would still do good damage.”

“Now, the damage from upgrades multiplies with the damage from attributes. This results in both attributes and weapon upgrades having a more equal responsibility in damage dealt.”

“For now we’ll remove the interval we have on weapons and armors. What that means is that if an item had a base value of 10, there was a 30% chance that the item could drop from 7-10. We wanted to remove this for quite some time and instead introduce ‘superior’ items at some point anyway, but given that people reported issues with weapon damage and armor, we decided that we’re changing this now already. With that, any weapon and armor you find will be exactly what the designer intended it to be :slight_smile:”

Atleast the Weapon attribute and Weapons base damage scaling isnt as “Random” as it used to be.
The Weapon Req has always had the same function but it gave the impression of there being a difference when it was more “Random” overall, so now its more clear atleast what you can expect from a the Req to equip the weapon, I also thought it was strange back then when the Breach update launched and before the Breach update aswell..

But dont worry the dev’s have said that they are gonna Rework the whole Attribute System or Remove it or whatever they decide to do. We will just have to wait and see what they decide and look for inputs when we get more info about it. :innocent:
