Weapon Requirement Changes.

  • All weapons have a “Primary Stat” requirement.
    Primary Stat = Faith + Dexterity + Strength + Intelligence
    The Primary Stat requirement for weapons varies by tier.

this is for sort all weapons to 3 Categories

Attribute Changes.

  • You get 1 Primary Stat point, and 1 Secondary Stat point per level.
    Primary Stat points can be used on Primary Stats, Secondary Stats, and Tertiary Stats.
    Secondary points you can use only on Secondary Stats.

You will have 30 Primary Stat points and 30 Secondary Stat points at Level 30.

The requirement for Main Stats on weapons determine the tier.
30=T3 Weapon
20-29=T2 Weapon
0-19=T1 Weapon

The 3 Weapon Categories

Tiers of Stats.

Primary

  • Strength = Weaponattack hit dmg,
    Intelligence = Skilldmg,
    Faith = scaling Buffs, regeneration Sta/focus/HP, - regeneration is all together
    Dexterity = atkspeed, castspeed

every Point in Primary Stats. you climb in the Weapon Categorie, you can only use Primary Points here, on lvl 30 = 30 Points

Secondary

  • Health
    Focus
    Stamina

Here you can use Secondary Points = 30 and Primary Points but used Primary Points you cant use on the Primary Stats

Tertiary

  • Equipload - Cost five Primary points.

You can only use Primary Points here for balancing between Dodge/Damage/Armor

Armor System.

  • +10 Faith let skip you a regeneration Tier
    Best regeneration = Cloth + 30 Faith
    Worst regeneration = Plate
    +30Faith and Cloth > Cloth > Leather > Mesh > Plate

Every Point in Faith, gives you more regeneration, this System is for balancing Armor/regeneration and Damage/regeneration. A Plate Mage would be forced to interact with the enemy in Meele, a Cloth Mage would stay in the backline and have enough Focus

Armor System 2.

  • Equipload skips one dodgetier cost 5 primäry Points (light/medium/heavy)

What is possible?.

  • You can build everything, but there is a tradeoff.
    You cant be a DpsHealerSkillspammerAttackMagicWarriorMage like everybody builds in the moment. You have to build and choose your own way with any Weapon, Tiers decide only the base dmg.

  • DEX STR FAITH INT has usecases for every Class, you want Skilldmg on your strengh warrior? build a bit of Int in cost of Strengh! You want use skills only as utility gapcloser and need dmg on your Weaponanimation attacks go full strengh!

  • Choices can only matter if there is a choice.
    If you have to decide between specializing or excel at absolutely everything at once, there is no real choice

  • Get rid to having Weaponrequirement only for let respec you

  • You can build a INT/FAITH Cloth armor Caster, which does half the DMG as a full mage but has a mega regeneration for spamming Heals, buffs which scale with faith, and light dodge

  • You can build a full FAITH Cloth armor Buffer, which does no DMG as a f has a mega regeneration for spamming best Heals, and the best buffs nobody has

  • You can build a Plate Warrior for PvP which can use a better dodge to escape, but your dmg scales from a T2 Weapon couse you use your Primery points for Equipload, but you will be sure that a T3 Weapon user which does more dmg than you , cant reach you

DONT FORGETT this is just a base to build on top of it, numbers are not real.

Here we have just 3 Systems which interact together (DONT FORGETT without any Perks).

What is the benefit of this system over the current system?

To me this looks like an overcomplication.

Stats do different things, A mage does lesser dmg with Weaponhits but more dmg with Skills than a Warrior.
Currently you would respec for stats to use another Weapon but your Build would stay the same, just with other weapon
Str faith and dex do currently the same they scale on your weaponhit and your weaponskill.

In the example you could respec for having another damage source.

-To me this looks like an overcomplication.
You maybe focus to much at the bottom build examples.
