thanks for quick updates u do a great job ! this is so amazing !
but PLZ we realy need re-spécialization, we want to try all the weapons and we dont want create a new character for this…
i hope this game will have a bigger world and challenges.
Sorry to @ you but I’m trying to have a dev notice this: can you please make it so cursor state / place is always reset to a default (first tab and / or first slot of an inventory) location on any screen, menu, inventory, storage etc?
I already made a thread for this, but it’s counterintuitive to how 99% of games do it which is to always reset cursor and menus states to a default, especially on games with such streamlined interfaces and Wicked is no different.
Right now, the game remembers every state and when you open a menu or tab it’ll be on that exact same box / slot you previously left it, which sounds like a good idea but actually isn’t for a game like this.
Wicked doesn’t have a ton of menus and screens say like a strategy game, so having it remember positions is actually less productive and make you lose time cause you never remember where you last were. Versus the alternative which is, again, what the vast majority of games do to always reset to a default state which never changes, a default position you remember and can use muscle memory with to navigate faster that way.
This sounds like such a small detail, but really, added with the inventory management which (even with your 25 stacks change with this patch which is nearly not enough) takes up so much time in mid to late game it’s really a chore.
The best thing would be a setting, that way everyone has a choice and can use whatever they prefer.
I don’t think it’s necessary to reset the cursor state / place. I have two items that give HP regen and it is because of the current system that I can equip two items with three buttons for quick change in different situations.
My feeling is, that now my Cerim is soo soo soo slow with his Assgeir Spear - Attack Speed - i mean, it was slow before but now?? (also still not usable Runes) and also really really slow when i try to evade (normal mode) from enemies. - seems like reaction time from controller to action is bad . now i get hitted so often from so so enemies. Also my feeling is, the performance improvement is not good at all. i mean, i have a i7 13700k Gen 14 and a GIGABYTE Radeon RX 7800 XT GAMING OC 16G and i played before the patch with maximum and now i reduced it - because i thought / think, that the speed from my char is bad, but nothing helped.
I play it since 37h with level 20 now - so, a bit exxperience is there.
Thanks a lot for the care you give to this game!!!
For the inventory improvement, i think like others that the community chest should be able to stack much more items, but also have more space, as testing equipment enchants & gems before having a house takes a lot of space.
I think many players will play with enchantments and gems after first boss and before second boss (so, before being able to buy a house) and arrive to inventory saturation quite fast as it is.
Aaand i send you a lot of encouragements, your game is already so good, and promising! PS, get some sleep, stay fresh
Like always thanks for all this work and this Hot Fix since just 1 week! You doing an amazing job! Keep going u gonna change this space with this game!
And in general, when entering the game, as if a little better with optimization, but as soon as defeated the third boss and the world updated to more complex mobs, it became even worse than it was.
Your updates are really great, thank you so much. The game is on track to be fully compatible with the Steam Deck, it’s really impressive how far it’s come since the first hotfix. I can’t wait to see what’s next, and I hope the world will expand to enrich the main storyline. Looking forward to the major updates with the continuation of the story, this game is going to become legendary.
