Patch Notes | The Breach Hotfix 4

:hammer_and_wrench: Early Access Patch Notes - The Breach Hotfix 4

Hey Folks,

We’re back with yet another Hotfix! We’re already busy working towards Patch 1, which will bring some massive changes and improvements, but in the meantime we wanted to get another update out that mainly focuses on smoothing out the experience for players.

We are aware of remaining stutters and are investigating them. If you do encounter any performance issues (stutters, leaks, etc) please create a post on the forum including a video of the issue as well as your datastore and log as it will help us look into them better!

Still no fix on Nith Grovebinders and increasing actual chest capacity. Stack size is NOT the problem.

Oh yeah, how about removing the blinding purple haze that burns your eye while playing in the only somewhat challenging environment left in the game. The pestilence fog is making it unbearable.

Thank you!

  • greately increased difficulty across the game

It’s a hotfix, not a patch. Balance changes will be in patches (the next Patch 1) and expansions (like Breach).

Never hurts to remind them.

  • Ring of Determination still in the game.

Need you be reminded that dumbing down mobs and adding microstagger to one hand weapons were all “hotfixes”?

Is it me or the Stamine cost / Focus gain have been unified for a same weapon type? I had a few wands in my storage with different stats and they are all 9 / 10 now.

Whelp, there goes my crucible fun. It was a nice exploit while it lasted. Great work on the pestilence fixes though.

Yeah exactly stack size is not a problem.

Thanks for the patch, also the stack size. Looking forward to have enough space again.

still no fix on M&K dodge roll hold

Nice, the stuff is compressed down to only 1/3 of its original size. Just one foodlocker needed anymore.

Thanks for your work.

Well, my stutters are completely gone - very good job guys!

I’m now able to enter Lowland Meadows again! Thanks!

I’ve seen people saying this patch fixed stutters for them, but for me it got even worse. Stutters and low FPS now happens constantly in Sacrament and while exploring. The only place it seems to be gone is inside my house in Sacrament. I have a pretty beefy computer and stutters weren’t as bad on Hotfix 3, although present.

Hotfix #4 fixed a lot of the performance issues I was experiencing.

Here are some ideas I thought of:

-increase the amount of space in the chests
-include dedicated item chests (mineral chest, wood chest, jewelry chest, etc., so there would be no need to increase the size of the chests, similar to the consumables chest)
-increase the level of the monsters to lvl 40 (even if we only stay up to 30) when we are in plague lvl 4 (or add plague lvl 5)
-add another crucible realm or +10 floors (and a second boss)
-fix the option to exalt golden items that have fixed phrases (since we cannot exalt the phrases, the item never becomes exalted)
-allow the choice of exalting the red/negative lines more or less (sometimes the build needs the reduced max focus to be too much or too little)

Can somebody explain why I was normal weight before the hotfix and now Im heavy?

Also I dont see this being mentioned… all gauntlets in my chests (like 50 of them) are now 14 stamina cost and 5 focus gen

I saw mention that standardization of parts weight, focus and stamina was coming in patch 1.

Must have been included in the hotfix, or some half baked version it shipped

5 focus sounds like a min roll lol
