Patch Notes - Early Access Hotfix 5

Huge work from you guys. Thanks a lot for all of this. The game is already in a very good shape for an early access, I’m super confident for the future.

Keep up the good work, and even though you must be talking about sprints in the meeting room, never forget it’s a marathon

Most likely it’s probably 1159 pm bc midnight starts a new day

Respectfully disagree, I think we should run up against inventory limits to encourage careful thought about what to get and what to leave behind.

It’s been a week, I am sure they are working on it. It requires not only changes to underlying logic, but also UX design to allow users to change the key binds in a logical way.

Thanks for your work ! I love your game. Even on steam deck. Love it more in few weeks as soon as you dive in handle optimization :sunglasses::kissing_heart::heart:

The QoL on dropping multiple things into Chests is so amazing! I still need a house full of medium chests to store everything, but that just seems funny…

Welcome to my home.

Where should I sit?

Any chest will do!

Yes, I mean that the item stack in the player’s backpack will not change, but the increase in the item stack limit in the storage chest in the home will allow the player to better manage their inventory, and avoid the room being full of storage chests, and it will not affect the player’s decision about what items they should leave behind in the field. I’m sure there are a lot of people who think the same way I do

After the hotfix it feels like my controls are unresponsive. Movement was a bit slow. The swing animation is kinda like longer not to sure maybe my timing was off. There are often dead spots for the action takes place like for certain I pressed that button but the action did not trigger.

Actually you cannot do what you just described. At this point in the game you cannot chose what to pick and what to leave behind - you have to collect all the loot at once. And going back to inventory to manually discard items I was forced to pick up to collect gold is just as annoying and tedious. So I might as well just collect everything and manage it once in a while when it’s full rather than just stopping game play every 20 seconds to open inventory.

You’re definitely not forced to pick up everything. You can select items to collect, rather than hitting the “collect all” button. Unless they changed that?

Only from chests, but no loot underfoot.

I don’t like this change very much. The campaign has become a bit too easy and stale now.

I think the decision to prevent the higher lvl items’ from dropping during campaign was a mistake.

In my first play-through, I had all the emotions playing this EA. The difficulty really grew on me. Having to postpone story progress to farm and prepare for the next thing was ultimately a fun experience.

Being rewarded with plenty of high lvl items of the rarer kind was dopamine inducing. I felt motivated to farm and kill enemies in nameless pass, because the items that were dropping were almost always usable or a legit future upgrade for me.

Now I feel item starved. All the rarest items are in the crucible with low drop rate and the world areas are not as rewarding or challenging to farm. I prefer finding items I can’t yet equip, instead of items that were nice to have 5 levels ago. - please consider reverting this change :slightly_smiling_face:

There’s a LOT more of No Rest coming, probably better to filter new and cool items in with the new content, imo.

Nope, you’re right. You just select the item you want instead of hitting Y.

There is one more bug related to this. If you have 10 coper bars divided in 2 stack of 5 each. When you try to upgrade an item at the blacksmith and the upgrade require 10 bars the upgrade fail, you cant do it, you need 10 bars in a single stack to be able to upgrade.
