Alright so I created a new character and realm to see if there are actually issues around weapon variety etc and found the following:
- Herbs are too scarce around mariner’s keep. Even I (120 hours into the game) had issues finding enough herbs to craft perpared food, because we all know eating raw food is dogwater.
Remedies- either place more herbs before unlocking the smith
- have an alternative recipe that doesn’t require herb
- make enemies drop more prepared food
- gear actually drops enough (in this run)
- The sewers accessed through the trap door is not scaled for early game. i had to backstab a normal enemy 7 times i think to kill him, so i don’t think that’s intended.
- consider replacing or nerfing the big guys in orban glades (i know controversial, but it’s the starting reiong, folks, they also hit way harder than the boss) to open up the region and have access to more loot if RNG demands it. in my first playthrough i fought them once and thought ok that’s not the intended way to go, just to realize that they are gone once you’ve beaten the boss…
- After sleeping at the rookery the region didn’t reset (no enemies and chests to be found)
