New fan feedback (souls veteran and hardcore player)

Hi. Your game is a masterpiece. I will vote for the game of year award in steam.

My suggestions:

  1. Automatically mark places for digging, fishing, mining on the map. Making new marks on map is not fun.
  2. Please add dual wield swords
  3. It would be a dream game if it has a full, seamless coop, without any restrictions and stronger enemies/more enemies. Also having different houses for each player is great idea
  4. More broken things in Sacrament (houses, bridges, roads) which we are able to repair
  5. Town siege event, when monsters attacking town and player defends it. Player can build different turrets/catapults/traps, hire soldiers, construct walls and obstacles. Monsters can break houses, so player will have to repair them from scratch.
  6. Pvp areas
  7. New abilities for exploring, like double jump and grappling hook, to reach far places or secrets
  8. Fraction reputation system. If you kill like 10 000 monsters from the same fraction, there are new boss, which is leader of faction, randomly spawning on the map and hunting for player.
  9. Ability to become a lord in Sacrament, building your statues, changing color and type of roads, houses, personalising everything
  10. Curse system, something like getting infected and struggling with heavy penalty to stats or abilities until antidote is found. It could be special enemy or parasite or cursed item/env object
  11. Character needs to drink, eat and sleep. We can carry sleeping bag, water, food now is essential. Maybe this is good idea? Like eating every hour, sleeping on grass - low bonuses, in sleeping bag - better and so on.
  12. Special enemies, which can be killed only with specific damage type (ice, fire, lightning, etc). Thus, player will need to use consumables to change weapon affinity (and bombs) or carry additional weapons just for these enemies. I find myself having to much consumables which i never use.
  13. Mission where we are at the ships battle, we have limited amount of ship’s health, so we need to hurry, using all cannons to shoot enemy ship. And final boss at this mission is some kind of ctulhu
  14. More quests from town citizens, like, find a prosthesis arm for one armed guy in lower section of town, find BOLA so that guy shut up already, clear graveyard from zambies
  15. Please, make smith using his voicelines like once in 3-5 minutes. He just never shuts and speaking too often, like most of other npcs
  16. Ability to build, create, expand your own garden to grow anything you need. This js VERY needed
  17. Would be cool if big enemies (or regular too) lose their limbs/parts of armor/parts of weapon as long, as their hp is depleted and they change their moveset accordingly
  18. Ideas for plague enemies:
    -infected giant crab
    -plague cat with many legs
    -giant crow
    -big human head on spider legs, spitting venom
  • something like one head using two bodies
  • not original, but big worm which separates to smaller ones when you hit him is a must have
  • invisible monsters
  • big and scary infected woman with long dark hair, very long arms and legs, crawling, screaming and attacking very fast
  • half man half crab
  • infected sharks
  • infected bandit which have treasure chest grown into him, hitting this guy drops money
  • the enemy which have enourmously long neck and he uses his spiked head as weapon
  • enemy with 6 arms, each holding different weapon, so he have 6 movesets
  • big infected pile of corpses, which becomes smaller as long as you hit it. Attacks you with tentacles
  1. Special events like wandering merchant, npc in trouble, acid rain, attack of wolfs, bandits
  2. Special nights which are much, much darker and you can’t see without torch (torch is limited) or lamp (lamp is infinite or refuellable)
  3. Special areas which are very dark
  4. Ways of putting your weapons on stands or walls to make a beautiful collection
  5. Same for armors, we need mannequins In house/outside houses
  6. Loadouts for character to switch them at any moment or at home/teleport site

I think it wouldn’t be a bad idea. getting a debuff after a certain amount of time that needs to be removed by resting also gives you a sense of time. i think since we’re healing by eating foods and buffing by drinking, it doesn’t make sense for those two. sleeping is still in the “too clunky and underutilized” category^^

it would also be funny when the edges of the screen turn darker and darker the more tired you are, where you eventually fall asleep for 15 seconds and get different debuff for rough sleeping^^ or when you are sleepy every time you get damage the dark edges disappear for a half-second. (lol imagine the self-damage builds that only exist to circumvent sleeping^^)
