Loot Drop Feedback & Excited for Future Updates

Right now we mostly only have one weapon option and multiple places to farm ore.
Armor feels quite limited with only 4 slots, and it’s really hard to obtain pieces.
The loot frequency overall feels a bit too low, which makes the grind less enjoyable than it could be.
I’m really excited about the game and looking forward to the next steps and how the story unfolds, but I think making the grinding experience a bit more rewarding (for example, having bears drop 2–3 leather) would improve the experience a lot.

It’s funny you bring this up because I’ve noticed that… as you play the story, the game gets harder. However, the loot doesn’t seem to change in frequency or amount. I know that the further you go, the more the loot drop table ‘widens’ so to speak to allow other types of things to drop with slightly more availability, but that doesn’t really address what’s being mentioned here.

I do feel like if you progress the story that enemies should at least have increased chances to drop more and more items from their loot tables. (If an enemy had a chance of dropping 0-2 items, increase it to 0-3, 0-4, 0-5 etc but maybe limit it to a total of 3 unique items from their table only. This would make it to where you could get 3 pieces of equipment or 2 pieces of equipment and up to 3 pieces of material.)

At the moment, there’s a more heavily incentivized notion to make new server worlds and rotate-farm them and their shops than there is to simply grind and farm your home world and I don’t believe this is intended.

If it wasn’t intended, then it wouldn’t have been possible this far into the early access?

I do believe it is the intended way to play the game even if i dont play it like this as much as i did before, But you dont have to force it upon yourself just because someone else says its the intended way of playing this game for them.

The problem is, all enemies drop jute/wool and you can easily go around and find dozens of iron/silver ores, but leather is so scarce
Bears should drop them, and animal enemies too, its tiresome to farm for them, for example, there’s only one place where i can find leather in abundancy, Marin Village for instance
Ive come to a point where i just enter daily, go there and farm, buy from vendors, and just leave the game (Looking for the last piece of durable gear i need)

All of this is valid and very true!

I do wish to point out that the main reason of having ‘multiple worlds’ was to be able to connect and play with multiple varying groups of friends. (Or the same group split up into multiple different forms of parties.) This game always intended to be multiplayer, even if the ‘multiplayer’ aspect of the game leans towards being abusive to your friends. (IE: Beating the snot out of them while in melee with an enemy because your weapon also hits them.)

But you are right, you don’t have to engage in the style of play of making several different solo worlds for itemization… but if you don’t, you spend 10 real life sets of 24 hours to do the same thing you can do in 1… I just think shops should rotate faster (probably every in-game 24 hours instead of real life 24 hours) and that enemies should drop more loot as they progressively become harder to kill as the story progresses.
