Specific Loot Location

The RNG will get worse as new items are added to the game, and grinding will be a pain. I suggest adding specific loot to certain areas. The RNG can still exist elsewhere, but grinding forever to find a specific item is no fun.

I think we would see something like that

In new areas (to be released) the gear would be above level 3 so hopefully we see higher tear geat drop and that pool of rng should be smaller

The idea that certain loot gets dropped from certain enemy types or areas… Yep, I like it

The level design is top but you need variety. A small 10mx10m meadow with two deers is no farming spot for deers. I like the game but the Hub City is not smaller than the whole Act 1 with monsters.

I am not entirely sure if just imagine that or if it is real, but…
I think the mobs are primarily dropping loot that they visually wear.
e.g. the firebomb m**********rs from in first area and the orange hat.
Or the fireball-ghost-things in the mines and the wooden-plank-hat-thing.

Would like to see the firebomb freaks drop daggers or knives, those red mercenaries drop bows and swords, those knights drop great swords and shields . Mages would be staffs and while this is not guaranteed, perhaps just a greater chance of it coming from them.

Personally I don’t use the throwing bombs we collect. I’m not quick enough or precise enough to switch from that to stamina / focus potions mid-fight

I agree that some loot should be zone-locked in some form. Maybe to Crucible or to an actual large area(ionia cave for example is too small but Orban is big enough). Make it so a specific rapier either only drops in that zone or have a much higher drop rate for it at least.
