Hey devs, it would be quite nice if the “Rebuilding sacrament” tab took into account the resources stashed away. With the limited amount of items you can carry, it is quite annoying to run back and forth picking up stacks of resources to upgraded the buildings, and would make it easier to keep track of what items I already have.
Thanks for the amazing game, and here’s to seeing it improve.
Could we have a chest where we can put resources for the building and crafting/enchanting vendors and then they can just pull them automatically from that chest, it’s so tedious running from the tower all the way back to the vendors especially when you can’t track what is required out in the world and you have limited inventory space early on
Having to take note of your stashed resources every time you wish to upgrade, sell, etc. causes unnecessary busy work and frustration.
It’s would do more good than harm to have vendors access your stashed inventory, even if it’s just for crafting/cooking resources, saving trips to the stash for weapons/armour.
100% nothing to add.
Maybe it unlocks after you build your own crafting stations but regardless it doesn’t make any sense from a gameplay perspective to let people run around between the crow nest and the market place to do anything.
When I found out I needed to pull items out of my chest first, I then pulled out my own hair instead. I sometimes feel they want to waste your time running around, just let me play the game.
Inventory management is incredibly annoying, For one, i get that i need to upgrade my inventory space and makes it to where i need to put stuff away (in the community chest??). on the other hand, when i go to craft or sell or whatever in town, the storage container isnt shared with the vendors? so i have to run all the back to my lodging and grab it, and then run back to the vendor to do whatever it is im trying to do. Its a lot of wasted time running back and forth and the kind of thing that annoys the hell out of me.
Edit: so now i have filled my Community stash. I have a full inventory and a full community stash. I feel like i cannot play without being forced to skip resources because i have no where to stash my inventory. The problem here isnt the resources, the crafting, the grinding etc., its the inventory management and ease of access. Please go watch Raxxanterax Review video on youtube. He explains the problem perfectly about inventory management and how it is a big problem and can really turn people off about a game. We want to play but we don’t want to be bothered with poor inventory managment. Just to kinda drive this point home, i got on the game today, went to dump my inventory, ran into said problem above and got off the game. I think ill just wait until this gets updated and fixed? idk
Edit 2: oh and on another note. i see people are creating realms to increase inventory slots and transfer/store items. This is absolutely a no go. people were forced to do this in Diablo 4 and we all know how the community reacted to there poor inventory management design. This is a band aid approach to a problem that needs a real solution
We should be able to craft (upgrade equipment, inscribe, cook, upgrade the town, and fulfill challenges) from shared storage when in town.
Maybe I missed them, but there only appears to be one shared stash in the rookery. A few more chest locations would also be nice, like around the crafters and the whisper, to help with the downtime between exploration.
After storing things in my house perhaps not the community chest. Vendors should be able to pull items that are in storage, its very cumbersome looking through 20 chests to find the one upgrade material you know you picked up but don’t remember storing. Its literally free massive QOL maybe not free dunno how hard it is to code it in but surely.
I would accept this feature being tied to higher tier storage items (maybe it already is?!?)
To be honest, the game doesn’t need something as fiddly as that. It’s completely unecessary and only downs the actual fun gameplay. Why don’t they just do it the way Dark Souls did and make the player just have every resource up their sleeves whenever they need them. Inventory management in my opinion only makes sense in survival games, because they are supposed to be realistic and difficult. An action rpg game only suffers from that nonsense. It just makes it less fun.
