I can not enter the game

Before submitting this bug, I tried multiple times to verify the game files via steam，

And there are no issues with the verification of the Steam report,

then, I tried to uninstalling and reinstalling the game, but the problem still persists.

The last time I played the game was on June 1, 2024, when it was still running normally. However, after updating the patch for July 25, I found that the game could not be accessed.

I have received the email you sent, but I am unable to reply. I would like to provide a short video to more intuitively demonstrate the issue I am facing. How can I get in touch with you?

have you tried to check the validity of game files via steam?

go to your library and right click on no rest for the wicked. select properties → installed/local files. then select verify integrity of game files. it might take a few minutes. steam checks for missing game files and downloads them if needed.

I saw a post that described the same problem as me. He mentioned the “perf-diagnosis” beta and was able to play normally using this mode. I would like to ask how to enter this mode?

alternatively go to the game in steam and right click it, then properties and betas. There you can use the dropdown menu on the right to select perf-diagnosis mode

I’m trying the “perf_diagnosis” beta and the game runs perfectly,but when I make game running in normal mode, the problem still exists. How should I solve the problem?

I’m worried that when the official version of the game is released, I won’t be able to play it

don’t worry, the game is in earl access still. Lots of changes and optimization yet to come. just enjoy the game in perf. mode for now.

if you want to help the dev team investigate the issues, you can send them your logfiles, as shown in the post i linked above (how to make a performance capture).

Thank you for your answer. I think the problem I encountered is similar to the one I mentioned in my previous post, which is caused by saving characters and kingdoms. Because I tried to delete the C: \ Users \ Administrator \ AppData \ LocalLow \ Moon Studios \ NoRestForTheWicked \ DataStore directory, the game did not crash. However, once I create a new character and kingdom, the game crashes. I hope you can pay attention to this issue. Thank you
