As in the video, my friend bought the game and got to the same point and has the exact same issue. You were quick enough to fix the sewers key bug so I’m hoping you can fix it by tomorrow as well. Here’s the link with everything you wanted + a video.

Upping this. I have the same problem. Cranes can’t be aligned. On my second playthrough and can’t progress at all.
EDIT
I managed to jump to the second crane, but it won’t align either.
That’s the closest I can get it, the other way around is just as bad. The only place it can’t go is where it’s supposed to be.

I’ve encountered the same problem on my world, screenshots show it functional on my original world, and impossible on my new one, so this bug applies only to newly created realms.
It seems like the crane has somehow been rotated 90 degrees, without moving the lever or changing the possible turn radius.

To anyone here struggling, there’s a work around, you can climb onto the head of the corpse and skip the entire puzzle, you just need the crane between the platform to where the save rift is.
Adding a paint edit to give you a better picture.
Might take you a few tries, I managed to do it in just a few minutes.

I hated this part of the game, I don’t mind a little platforming but this whole area was just frustrating, I’m not playing super mario bros here…

Have the same bug (hotfix 2 ver.). Cant progress the game. And solutions posted here did not work for me

it’s not just that, the whole area is environmental jump puzzles, and I just don’t enjoy it. Miss, fall, die, walk all the back and try again. Ugh. I’m allowed to not enjoy it. It wouldn’t be so bad if the jump mechanics worked better. I like most of the game, but that stuff is just annoying.

This is happening to me in my first world, thanks for the solution but as far as i know it´s not the only crane that bugged it´s direction

Hotfix 3 patch claimed to have fixed this issue but I’m still unable to line up the platforms. I even restarted steam to ensure the update went through. All up to date but still bugged and can’t proceed with story…

It wouldn’t surprise me if bugged realms remain bugged, but newly created realms work properly.
