Here, the Russian language offers a variety of options. For example, “Время до возвращения врагов“ means “the time until the enemies return”. Or “Враги вернутся через:“ means “Enemies will return in:“. You can keep the word “крип” (creep), but that will evoke associations with Dota 2 and break the immersion a bit.
Inaccuracies
Incorrect case. Instead of “шипы” (thorns) there should be “шипов” (thorns).
There’s another error in the screenshot above. The word “Восстановить” needs to be changed to “(восстановление)”. “Восстановить” is verb. “(восстановление)” is noun
The translation in the update is definitely not done by humans. I can help you with the translation if you send me the localization files in CSV or JSON format (or any other, the main thing is that it opens), and I’ll do a proper translation for you. Everything regarding the menu and other stuff is already in the game. Regarding questions about the game’s lore, I can offer several options with English translations to help you make a more precise decision
In the main menu, the network status is displayed over the level information. I’ve seen abbreviations of the word in other languages. It would look like this: “Макс. уровень”. It could also be implemented as a single word on a single line.
Approximate translation: Главная церковь на материке — лишь ребёнок, копошащийся в грязи. Но мы с тобой знаем лучше. Мы способны взойти по лестнице навстречу восходу солнца.
In Russian, “материковая церковь” is not a commonly used term. “Церковь на материке” can be used to contrast it with the island, and I added “главная”(mail) to emphasize its dominant role.
UI issues in other languages but not English have the same root in my book. They need to trim the text, or create exceptions for that language it occurs in.
