Hey fellas I’m asking this cuz I kinda lazy and don’t have enough resources to test it by my self. So does any of you have tested it out that if the armor penetration enchantment works with damage on parry mech in the game or not? I know that it scales your overall damage output no matter which type of element it is. So since damage on parry also scales with physical damage it must be work with armor penetration on paper but my concern is the fact that we dont directly deal the damage we reflect it with parry so idk how does it work or does even work in terms of coding in the background anyway let me know if you know guys and ggs!
you can test it with a dummy (has 30-40% phys resistance) but i’m 99% sure it works with damage on parry.
it applies to all damage types. reduces all enemy resistances
Then it must reduce enemy armor as long as you have the enchantment on any of your equipment anyway it doesnt triggers with damage output only it suppose to be something like a passive debuff which we always inflict passively since we have the enchantment.
yeah it’s calculated something like this:
effective armor = armor * (1 - armorPen)
applies to everything you do ← i think this is what you actually wanted to know
people on discord seem to think that mobs have a range of resists from about 0% to about 60%
so the more armored your target is the more ARPEN is effective
Wellp yess this makes it crystal clear for me thank you for your words mate!
