this is the first “souls like” game for me.
I’m level 3 (no points set) and in the starting area but I’ve died so many times that my only weapon is broken and didn’t get any mats to cook healing stuff.
This is now a souls-like dead end and a restart is recommended?

At the bridge to your right in the screenshot, there’s a corpse lying there, he always drops one weapon.
Or start from the beginning, you haven’t gone far and you’ll get through it all again quickly.
You must’ve dropped some repair powder by now, can use that from inventory for insta repair. I always end up with quite a few weaps by the time I get to the smith as well. First time playing couple bombs helped with that trio.
Other than that, can always make new realm with same character, grab the first weapon from the beach and go back to your first realm.

Started a new realm and grab the first weapon and collect some mats for heal food. Go back to the main realm and solved the 3 vs me situation and recognize that some treasure chest can be looted again.
The gate is now open for new adventures.
