Congrats mate, well done. Both for overcoming Warrick, and your own limitations 
Just bumping this thread. While I personally enjoy a challenge, I do think Warrick is still overtuned and we’ll see plenty of people churn from the game based on this boss.
Sure, he’s easy once you’ve mastered him. So is Malenia. That’s not a reason to put her in Limgrave.
not so sure, been away from the game, came back for ‘The Breach’, defeated him 1st time…
the differences this time: some game knowledge, better ways to prepare (more weapon drops), Warrick being less aggressive or doing less DMG (at least compared to what I remember back then LOL)
although, I haven’t tried other weapons, but since didn’t find the weapon I used to defeat him back then (long sword one, claymore I think, whatever), used something else (hammer and shield, I think LOL, dunno, this time around type of weapon didn’t seem to matter as much as in the past)
he seems to be a lot easier now. i just fought him yesterday, and i had a less than optimal build. I did not find any weapon i’d like to try early on and therefor did not invest any skillpoints. Still got him down pretty quick. but maybe that is very subjective.

well, difficulty is indeed very subjective…
but if my memory serves me right, Warrick was much more difficult before…
(this time I only died one, and wasn’t cuz of him, LOL I miss-dodged and fell to my death, so technically I beat him on the 1st try, and likewise not an optimal build nor much thought put in) XD

As per today’s patch sneak preview I stand corrected 
Luckily I get a gloves that has a hadouken rune on it that only cost 50 focus to cast.
