Uncollidable chests in houses

Some chests in my houses sometimes start to lack a collider, the character can pass through them, and they cannot be removed until the number of chests in the house is reduced.

It feels like it starts at a certain point, apparently there is some kind of limitation in the number of chests in the house.

Can you confirm or deny this?
