Trade legendary weapons for other legendaries

So far every legendary piece of gear I found is useless to my build. Which sucks, cause that means I don’t have any legendary weapon in use. It would be nice if we could destroy or trade those items for some kind of currency that allows you to craft a legendary of your choice, for a high cost if you want, but right now this gold items are only filling a slot in my chests and I feel I should have gotten something more rewarding from killing bosses

I wrote a similar feedback back at EA release. Legendary weapons doesn’t feel that good to get, because they are often not the best weapons in the game. The best weapons are purple where you can counter the negative effect with something. Legendary weapons in this game is “just” having unique enchantments.
We are conditioned to see the golden legendary color and know this is the best, but then we end up with a chest full of legendary weapons we never use, either because attributes don’t match, or because purple weapons are better.

I want everything, now and without doing anything

well no but I am about to finish all the content and I literally didn’t get a single useful weapon. Something has to be wrong right? If it’s in the game but is useless it probably needs some tweaking

I also played 40 hours before getting a life-steal gem, and 50 hours before getting a weight-gem. Don’t listen to these hostile comments

This is also a lie.

I had at least 5 gems of every kind after 45 hours.

You didn’t dig anything, mine anything and you expected gems to drop on your lap.

Have you played the game before the breach? Cause I did, and before the loot was different you would get way more gems. Now is really random, I get what he is saying in 50 hours I still never got a feather gem for example. Do you know what random means? It means you may not get a certain type of object. Bosses also have a chance to not drop legendary loot and in 5 bosses I only got two legendaries. Do you know what two means? 1, 2.

can you please not insult others? there is really no need to attack each other.

OK.

But they’re lying.

Well, more like hiding the truth.

well be that as it may, there is still no need for personal attacks. thanks!

Alright, I’ll tone it down.

You know how I know they’re lying though?

If you bring Sora’s letter to Eleanor, she’ll give you one of every gem. So there is no way someone after almost finishing the game doesn’t have 1 or two of each kind.

Perhaps the answer lies in bringing a legendary weapons briming with potential to the watcher. He can then unveil what you’ve found, and you can choose from options what you’re legendary weapon will look like?

BlackWaterPirate. I’ve played through the start of the game 10 times and played through to completion or halfway in each of these realms. The start of the game has a generous drop rate of gems and embers. But once Sacrament is entered, or once you’ve leveled up a bit, that drop rate goes down rather dramatically. I have to have these separate realms so that I can go to the general goods to be assured of a random enchant gem to buy. It’s fine for you to say you’ve gotten five of each by the end, but not everyone’s drop rate gets so lucky. I saw a guy who said they had dozens of legendary gear, but in my runs I rarely got them dropped by bosses (ignoring the crucible as per my last post where you commented).

This is what mahler mentioned, like Diablo and other games p2w auction houses. People get the power weapons right away and fully OP with no effort XD

its a good idea a trader for legendary items on endgame, i have the same problem, my legendaries doesnt fit on my build and im grinding endgame.

This idea has nothing bad. I dont want any fast and without effort im putting a lot effort and can trade or craft or anything to have my legendaries sounds good

then maybe that is one of my issues, because I was tired of playing the start of the game on the previous versions of the game, I ran past the risen as fast as I could towards sacrament and killed the first boss as fast as I could since I already knew his patterns. Once I entered sacrament level 3 or so, I didn’t really get many drops of gems. I then made a new character and started over (to put the gems in the shared chest) but I didn’t get much better luck with that one either
