The Enchantment system soo far has been a bit problematic mainly because of the large pool of Enchantment to roll from and also the limited exalt on the said Enchantment.
The plagued weapon has limited 10 rolls and if you don’t get the enchantment you want you can’t do anything about it. I have a suggestion, right now the plague ichor after upgrading every your character is pretty much useless. Why not make it more useful in the end game by letting players use the plague ichor to increase the re-roll limit of a weapon?
Also about the exalt, it’s taking player agency and locking it behind a very strict way to build craft. Only a few players can come up with broken builds and many players struggle with it. It would do favour to experienced player but new players would struggle to make a build that feels strong. Yes, I understand the appeal of limiting the player from coming up with broken builds. But I myself haven’t beat echo knight in my 150 hours of play through. Yes, I got close to beating a few times. Build crafting in the current version is a bit hectic and implementing the new Enchantment system would turn the game into a grind slop in my opinion.
So, my suggestion is let the player overcome the limited rolls on the Enchantment by making plague ichor more useful in end game. Also a way to choose our exalt even if it’s limited and a way to increase the amount of times to exalt. Yes, there’s a problem that players will farm plague ichor by making multiple realms so why not distinguish the plague ichor dropped from plague bossess? The plague ichor dropped from plague bosses can upgrade the character but also increase the limitation of the weapon Enchantment re-roll.
