Prefer the live Exalting vs. experimental style

With the current/live Exalting system you know all the lines are not only getting maximized, and when you do all of them you are rewarded with the entire item getting an overall slight bump.

With the new system I’m just not sure I feel rewarded for exalting. The first item I did had its crit chance double bumped, so that was nice, but that left me wondering if the 3rd enchantment which didn’t get exalted was maximized or not. And there was no overall bump in the item stats.

So I wonder, what is the difference between the new Exalting system and rerolling the item at the enchanter? If it’s something I had say starting at level 10 and upgraded to max, I’m assuming those enchantments didn’t upgrade, and wouldn’t rerolling them possibly roll higher? If I’m at say +8% and exalt it to +12%, is that max? Would rerolling the same enchantment at the enchanter maybe reroll it at +15%?

I’d prefer it be like the old system, where I knew the enchantment line was not only getting maxed, but after doing each one the item overall gets a bump.

Also, I don’t know how others feel, but the Exalted mark is a little too subtle. Maybe add some filigree? Obviously not as big as the example I did, since that’d bleed into neighboring items, but something more than what is there along both the left and top would be great.

You are absolutely right, the new Exalt is too much RNG, and seems odd considering they were trying to reduce RNG by adding Embers to swap Enchantments, but now made Exalt so RNG prone.

Additionally, since we can no longer Exalt Legendary gear, it means we need to keep farming it till we get an Exalted drop, which is insane considering how rarely this gear drops to begin with.
