Thoughts after 15ish hours(Mid game)

Coming from playing all of the souls likes since their releases and a plethora of ARPGS since D2.
Here are my current thoughts on things that need to be addressed in my opinion:

*Remove the time needed to upgrade the base. I cannot believe that I have to wait an hour like a mobile game for this to happen.

  • For the love of God, fix inventory space alongside chest space in town.

  • Update to fast travel system being expanded. Being able to travel to the beginning or end of major areas would be an amazing add as this basically feels like the issue with early D4 and dungeons and we all know how that went.

*Some indication of where the last bounty is some way, either a circle on the map or something to stop from wandering aimlessly for a while during bounties.

*Enemies poise needs an increase in timing when being hit because enemies instantly start swinging mid combo after already being poise broken for most medium weapons (Katana, Double Daggers, night blade) instead of waiting end of the weapon combo makes no sense to get punished without being able to react.

  • The health grinding is suffocating the mid game, it’s not fun when you have to take a break mid adventure to walk through a forest and grab mushrooms and weeds for 15 minutes.

*Target locking is kind of rough with certain camera POVs and leads to me falling to my death a lot or missing information.

  • Story is okay so far (standard story arc); voice acting is good, and art is fantastic, but the level progress is very steep in terms of experience levels relating to main story quests. What I mean is that a player should not be punished for being able to clear the area in a single go (exploring everywhere), I shouldn’t have to go back to fight the same monsters over and over just to be able to hit gear and move through story thresholds.

*Also, glad that the developer is looking at reviews, game has the chance to be good through some QOL updates and some overhauls to the more time-wasting aspects currently in the game.

Inventory space is fine, just manage all the crap you find and buy a house, the devs even put that option way before the sewer boss because people kept complaining about storage space.
I usually gather everything as i go, store at the house and later if i need more food i just use the oven, you buy that with the construction upgrade guy in main square.
Fast travel to every whisper should make those shortcuts you open useless, they already said they will add more ways of traveling, but i think fast travel will stay like this to make players use those shortcuts.
I dont like the whole ichor drinking blood for inventory space either, hope they change that, inventory space should be upgraded with the vendors, more pockets or a backpack, anything is better than the current system, its odd, drink boss blood and get more space.

i think the ichor system was just a placeholder, they already planning on adding skilltree for the game
