Frome what i can see, the mainn strategy for the players is this: make a ton of money, buy white weapons and armor, enchant them until you get a purple item with the focus and life on hit stat.
Now if that is the case, i honestly think the mechanics of the gaame should change. From what i can see in the youtube videos those two stats are so good compared to the others that yellow weapons are not even taken into consideration.
And that brings me to what i’ve been saying already… in this game there is no dopamine spike because yellows are not that good and drop in general are not as good either. Just a matter of enchantig a ton to get purple with those stats. Why are’nt yellows having those stats?
Thats a general problem.
With entering Crucibles, the rest of the world is rather useless.
XP, Mob density and Droprates (money) are High compared to the Open World.
The Open World lacks “direction” outside from Tier Bound Ressource Spots.
Farming Sirens at the Beach are okay, but wolfs?
My Weapon needs Bear pranks, found 1 in a chest a bear itself never seen.
The Tier bound ressources are okay but the Upgrades boring and more tedious than valueable. No Opportunity cost like Food Buffs vs Bombs or Better Weapons from the Blacksmith vs better Enchants etc. … its rather boring, without meaning.
i get it that we are just at chapter 1 but they either introduce some innovations or the interest goes down.
the mats for the upgrades can become unfindable unless your lucky in finding them either in the Crucible or at the vendor
whats the point of doing the crucible for yellows if the yellows are useless
what is the point of the crucible if every time you have to do all the dungeons to reach the boss
and by the way it might be just me… but when i do the crucible aprox 50% of the times i die before reaching the boss for some stupid shxt that happens… falling down a pit while trying to hit a mob… falling down a pit while trying to get a blu flame… just falling down the pit because the game decided that instead of running the toon had to jump down a pit or… because my toon, in deciding that he has to hit a mob next to the edge of the pit, decides to make the last swing … down the pit…
