What’s the point of farm a million of all these items in endgame? There is still some sense in farming weapons (to get a rune out of it, or to get a base that you don’t have yet), but I don’t see any sense at all in farming armor:
- All bases (for example, leather armor) are almost identical, there are minimal differences in resists, but they are insignificant.
- The mods on the item don’t matter either, you’ll still craft what you need with embers.
As a result, I just sell all this garbage and keep several “white” items of each type (fabric, leather, chain mail, lats).
It would make sense if you couldn’t craft any mods on item yourself (only random drop), but as far as I know, there aren’t any (correct me if I’m wrong).

Have you ever played dark souls? It’s all about fashion and I’m all for it
Emmm I don’t have a lot of words to respond to your comment… It’s easy enough to add a transmog for this. The whole endgame, like the game itself, is built on the items farm and build creation (as the game director said in an interview). And the fact that different armor doesn’t have any effect in dark souls is dark souls’ problem.

totally agree.. once you have extracted the runes and found a base in case you need it there is no motivation to farm items except to make gold (which at a certain point will be useless anyway)
this is due to the fact that you can reroll the affixes and therefore you do not need many bases and the poor utility of them given the lack of alternatives in the builds (before the breach you could build on attack speed, gain focus or stamina and use heavy armor while remaining normal thanks to the load capacity).
on the armor and crafting side the situation is even worse than on weapons.. I have no reason to craft armor given their cost in resources and given that they do not give me any benefit other than aesthetic compared to what I find
