This is a bug about 2 elements with the quest “The potions seller”.

CONDITIONS TO REPLICATE (Need confirmation) :
- Do the entire story without going in the cave’s quest.
- Wait for the pestilence to go inside this region, clear the region.
- When the boss is sumonned, go to the Iona’s cave.
- Clear the cave and activate the flower.
- Quit the cave. This activates phase 2 of the quest without phase 1.
- Log out and login to the game.
- Come back to the cave and get one more time the flower.
- Trigger the cutscene at the end of the cave. Phase 3 is active.
- Log out and login to the game.
- Return to the game, speak to Markos. You have now Phase 3 AND Phase 1 active at the same time. And a marker on the minimap bugged.
WHAT ARE THE BUGS :
If you do this quest after the main story, you can be at different phases of this quest at the same time.
When you enter in this cave there is no boss for the pestilence, but you can find the flower at the end. Because of the pestilence, the NPC (Markos) is not in the cave at that moment.
You can clear the entire cave and activate the flower. But, because you didn’t talk to Markos, you don’t have the cutscene at the “face door” at the end of the cave. An indication in the quest logs speak about “going back to markos” (Phase 3), an NPC we didn’t see.
If you go to the main big tower with the old man and his assistant, you can find 2 markers. The one on the right side can’t be hovered. And the NPC is not there, because you didn’t really triggered phase 1.
Then, you must logout, and restart the game.
At that moment, a new marker is available at the cavern.
After that, if you come back to the cave, you can trigger the cutscene at the cave by clearing it a second time.
Then quit the game again and come back to the cave. You can find Markos and speak to him (phase 1). Then, you need to “do the quest”.
At that moment, if you check your quest logs, you can see phase 1 AND phase 3 as actual objectives for the quest at the same time. If you talk to him, he ask you to find the flower (Phase 1)
UPDATE 1 : If you do for the third time the cave, finding the flower and then speaking to Markos, it will validate the phase 3. Finishing the quest will not clear the bugged marker on the map.
OLD : I don’t have any more informations because I didn’t clear the cave for the third time yet. But I will update this topic after that to give more informations if it can help.
