In this quest, me and my friend already kill all the bolein knight and got the Key item.
However, the quest cannot be progress as in the Screenshot.
NPC show same dialogue and not let us use an elevator.
Hope you guys fix this.

no Quest icon on the NPC but the “!” Mark still in the cave with no respawn enemy.

Thank you for your report Nutpinto, this is a good find will be solved soon I hope. I will also see if I can get @Steve_Jewer to manually move your quest line 1 stage up.

Hi,
During a playthrough with a friend, we explored the new ashen road during the Faith of Flame questline, and killed the Bolein Deserters before getting the directive from Bainbridge. We have the key quest token, but Bainbridge says we still need to hunt down the deserters, and they wont respawn. We’ve tried waiting for mobs to respawn and entering from both exits from the cave. Nothing has worked thus far.
Please note that prior to the storyline change and the locking of the whispers at Nameless Path, we explored pretty extensively, and thus had the whisper near the hidden cave already unlocked, so when we came for the story path, we explored north and found the deserters before finding Bainbridge to talk too.

Same problem here, cannot progress to the story and stuck at the elevator.
Hi Guys, got the same issue here on my and a friends playthrough. the insignia is in inventory but old mate isnt letting us on elevator… any thoughts or solutions?
Can you describe the steps that led up to this moment?

Hi mate, here is the linked google drive folder. Forgive me if im missing things, im pretty clunky with this sort of stuff. We believe our game is currently a bit bugged in other areas now also around inventory as when we are upgrading things in the blacksmith/other shop menus, the inventory is pretty glitched out showing unrelated items to upgrade with out options to actually upgrade them.
We have a feeling this may have occurred after upgrading some of the vendors to lv 3. Not 100percent sure though…

Sadly no. I would love to be able to do this but I can’t, and Moon Studios developers are on a well deserved rest, so if they haven’t get back to you yet, it’s because of that 
Right now you are halted in your campaign and this quest line, I’m so sorry.
You will have to restart your Realm or join someone else’s.

I just have to wonder did you pick up a torch from a chest inside the cave?
yes, torch gets collected. it respawns each time the loot respawns in the area. wolves in cave respawn also, however the defected soldiers dont respawn. i suppose they are set to spawn only once and then give the icon… ive tried a few different things to try prompt old mate at the elevator to budge but no luck. Let me know if you find anything.

I guess you also have tried to verify the steam files and also have your other friends who are connected to the realm verify their files?
(I dont think it matters but who knows)

We logged in today, but the game is still softlocked in this mission.
If anyone finds a solution, please share.
Or do we need to start a new run to fix any bugs there may have been?
