We tried to defeat The Winged Brood in a party of 3. I died in the fight first and somehow managed to revive at the checkpoint, reached the wall that wouldn’t let me back into the boss fight and in the meantime my friends defeated the first phase of the boss fight and the second phase didn’t trigger at all and nothing happened. So we decided to get killed and tried the fight again, but unsuccessfully. Since then we haven’t been able to trigger the fight again. We all tried to disconnect, die, we waited a long time while disconnected from the realm, we tried to connect to another realm, we went to bed and some other minor workarounds but to no avail and we’re not able to trigger the fight again. It seems to be stuck. Any hints?

Investigating this, thank you for the report.
During the final boss fight, my friend and I crashed multiple times. The final crash occurred simultaneously for both of us when I switched weapons.
This has hardlocked our realm on the “Faith and Flame” quest, we need to pass thouth the pit and fird Madrigal Seline. But area “Nameless Pass” behaves as that we have already spoken with Madrigal Seline. Boss arena can’t be activated either.

I’m playing No Rest for the Wicked and I reached the Winged Broods boss fight in co-op with two friends.
During the fight, one of my friends was killed by the boss and respawned at Whisper Mountain Gate. The two of us who stayed in the arena killed the small bats, but after that nothing else happened and the boss never appeared.
I checked on YouTube and after killing the small bats, the real boss should spawn. After defeating it, the fallen stone pillar can be climbed to continue. But in our case, after our friend respawned, nothing spawned anymore and the pillar is still not climbable.
Now when I enter the area, it says the boss fight is in progress, but there is nothing to fight. I tried continuing from the last Whisper, restarting the game, and verifying game files, but nothing works. We are completely stuck and can’t progress.
This bug blocks our progress completely. Please fix this issue.
Died fighting the brood with a friend, restarted it and killed the 3 smaller ones but the two big ones never came and not the zone is stuck in a combat zone. left and came back so the boss battle wall disapered but issue still remains.

Same problem here, my friend and I killed two gargoyles that were heading towards us from outside the arena, and since then we haven’t been able to trigger the boss fight or continue to Caylen. We’re stuck and don’t know what to do.
Edit: I would add that when we are in the “arena”, it is impossible for us to interact with each other (a message tells us that we are in combat against the boss) and that running consumes our stamina as if we were in combat.

Sorry to bother anyone, but Unfortunately my realm that me and my friends spent a long time working through ended up soft-locking at the winged brood fight.
one of our party had respawned while the rest were fighting and once the gargoyles were defeated the second phase boss did not spawn and the room became clear to enter but it still recognises the room that there’s a battle? though nothing spawns and we are effectively stuck.
Seems some others have encountered something similar. If you’re able to help please let me know. I’ve linked my player and data info.

Steps to Reproduce :

Experience a client crash during the encounter.

Log back in and re-enter the arena.

The boss is missing, and the fight cannot be restarted.
Requested Action: Please investigate if there is a way to reset the instance state or if this is a known synchronization issue after a crash.

Thank you for the update. Unfortunately, even after installing Hotfix 4 and restarting Steam, the issue persists for me.
I am stuck in a loop where the game acts as if I have defeated the final boss, but I cannot progress further or restart the mission. I have already tried to manually recover an older save and switched to offline mode, but neither worked
