So after they game got dumbed down to the level of absolute trash players “enjoyment” the same mob now wants to make Echo Knight easy.
Well Moon, you go right ahead and do that, but be aware that your core audience that gave you favorable reviews pre-Breach, at some point will turn on you and burn you into the ground with review reversals if you keep pandering to the scrubs.
Not really sure what you mean by that because the game was objectively easier pre breach. Bosses and random mob included.
Without even talking about the archers that became john wick now.
i think the point here is that bosses got nerfed a lot, especially the pre-breach ones and echo knight. i do not mind that the first boss was nerfed, it helps new players access sacrament and therefor kind of concludes the “tutorial”, but the other pre breach bosses seemed to be way too easy for being bosses. i struggled a lot more getting to the boss, than fighting them. in my personal opinion a boss should be a skill wall u hit, not the mobs in front if the arena.
Having the crucible Echo Knight remain as difficult as it is doesn’t make sense compared to the difficulty of the crucible levels. If the entire crucible is difficult, the boss should be difficult. If the entire crucible is easy, the boss should be easy. But as it is, it’s way over what it should be for a balanced experience. Adding different initial difficulty tiers when entering, and leaving one for the hardest, is a simple enough fix that doesn’t hinder anyone’s experience.
I don’t buy that, personally.
I advocated for realm modifiers a year ago, and still do, but at some point it’s time to learn the games mechanics.
I’d draw that line at optional content, which crucible was designed to be. Not that the point couldn’t be reinforced with the story or dialogue but…the zone is literally introduced as a training grond with no end, only chaos.
Let it be. Clearing EK as every right to be a line in the sand, imo. Strictly because it’s optional content.
Edit:
And EK can still be cheesed to death so.. there’s that too.
