Some quality of life feedback after my full playthrough

I have finished the Breach update content, and I enjoyed it! The two hotfixes definitely helped. Thanks, Moon Studio, for your dedication and passion for this game. I love the scenery and the map design. Also, the animations (both in-game and cinematics) are top tier, and I’m loving the story and the characters a lot. Bravo!

Here are some quality-of-life critiques I have during my playthrough; sorry if my English is broken.

Player camera movement for the final boss needs improvement. In both phases the monsters fly around, which drags my camera around. Sometimes the player character is nowhere near the center of the screen; for phase 1, it’s even hard to find my player character when I’m getting swarmed.

Teleporting. I wish the whispers before the area boss becomes teleportable after a certain point of the game, or use an ember to enable a whisper for teleportation. Right now it’s more or less forcing the player to focus on a single area and avoid touching other whispers, but I thought this game’s design logic is to encourage players to revisit explored areas?

Things that emit light become blindingly bright in some areas. I carry my ice-infused sword into the rookery. Wow, a flash bomb! The same goes for the light-emitting rune. I can’t turn it off at will, and… white sand on the shallows during daytime—imagine that being overly illuminated. Can barely see the sirens biting my toes off.

I wish there’s an locking option for items: I lock my sword, then I can’t accidentally sell it or destroy it. The default keybind for destroying an equipped item is the same as unequipping in Elden Ring. My muscle memory jump scares me all the time.

Less bouncy wood/ore loot. They bounce and roll off cliffs sometimes.

Locking when fighting multiple enemies is problematic. The locking system switches target sometimes during the Tusk & Caretaker fight and the final bat swarm, meaning I’m using my runes while keeping an eye out for other bosses’s moves, and … WHERE ARE YOU HITTING CERIM! I hope the locking icon have a more visible animated effect to highlight it changing target.

Day and night fast-forwarding. I hope we can meditate to skip time.

That’s pretty much it. Thank you moon studio, please keep up the good work!
