You have decided to create a game with a class-less system.
Lots of unique weapons, and many different playstyles.
At the same time you have decided to not implement a system that support the core design described above.
We aren’t allowed to try out (and use) lots of different, interesting weapons and playstyles.
You kind of force us to keep making new characters.
Here is the problem:
First of all the 2 aspects above contradicts and conflicts with each other.
Seconndly - Lots of casual players don’t have the time or interest in keep making new characters over and over to try out different weapons / Playstyles.
(They only got the time to invest in 1 character)
I know that you are working on a respec system, but please DO NOT make it very costly or rare to respec.
There is no need to restrict players from having fun and enjoy their time, by adding artificial additional playtime, by forcing players into starting from scratch every time they get a new interesting endgame weapon they haven’t specced into.
Use the respec mechanic as a gold sink.
Price to respec: 25 bronze coin per player level.
(This way it scales, and ensures that both new/low level players, as well as high/end-game players can respec properly)
