First off, I want to say how much I absolutely love No Rest for the Wicked. The world you’ve created is stunning—beautifully detailed, rich in atmosphere, and exactly the kind of game I’ve been waiting for. Everything from the art style to the combat mechanics shows how much passion and care went into this project, and I genuinely appreciate it.
That said, I really believe the game would benefit greatly from difficulty options—like easy, normal, or hard—so more players can experience it in a way that fits their playstyle. Right now, it feels like the game leans very hard by default, and while I respect the challenge, not everyone wants a punishing experience just to enjoy such an incredible world.
Games like Ori and the Will of the Wisps are great examples of how to implement difficulty settings while still preserving the intended experience. Even something as simple as sliders for enemy aggression or damage could help make it more accessible without compromising the core vision.
Please consider adding this feature. I truly want to keep playing and exploring everything this masterpiece has to offer, but I’d love to do it at a pace that doesn’t become frustrating. I would love this to be my game for a very long time, but I believe the world you are building is so visually beautiful, we need to be able to have the option to enjoy it without frustration.
