Personal feelings on the nature of this discussion aside, I think it would be best that if future posts on this topic do not include ad hominem’s and contribute to the topic with either:
-
Mentioning ways to make farming Embers easier in the current version.
-
Mentioning ways to make Crucible runs more efficient, thus lowering the probability of wasting embers on runs.
As for the latter, I’d recommend the following:
-
Wear either Plate or Mesh, Plate if you have the spare points and are comfortable with slow rolling/normal rolling. There is too little return on cloth/leather. See this: UPDATE: Poll Results, Analysis & Discussion: Plate is Overpowered
-
Use the Blacksmith’s or tailor’s gear and enchant it untill you have solid affixes. Enchanting is currently extremely random thus it is better to use Vendor/Crucible gear and enchant those (easier access).
-
Use weapons you like the moveset and timing off. Combat has to feel natural.
-
Try to fight mobs 1 by 1 and use aoe or nuke runes for larger threats so you can one shot them. Some areas have 2-3 mobs, make sure you have an aoe rune or one with iframes (eruption for 2h can work, costs 150 focus but oneshots most enemies whilst having iframes).
-
Be careful around ledges.

With regards to the Echo Knight himself I would recommend watching a video on how to deal with him. I do think it is frustrating to learn his moveset naturally with how the crucible currently is.
