Problem with chest loot challenge

So, I went to the black trench, searched in the entire map, and didn’t find a single large chest, even though I’m supposed to find three.

If it’s RNG, that’s annoying; I’m not going to go back and search the area fifty times until I get lucky.

The black trench is problematic because of how labyrinthic it is and because of needing to remember which levers raise/lower water to reach some places.

The chests are probably there, but they might be in inaccessible places.

Same thing happened to me. I was like “is this a bug or something? I’ve searched everywhere in this map and there isn’t a large chest”
