the new beta app came out at the end of Januar 2026. Runs great with NRFTW - Together.

Someone tested the new app under a different linux distro? Would be interesting to know.

I play on cachyos. Zero configuration required, just install it and go.
I suspect anyone in linux can play if they install prototricks and stick to the GE-lines of proton. Though, I will admit, I haven’t even tried any of steams core variants. (why fix what isn’t broken)
I’d also like to state, that my game performance is MASS/——\IVELY better on linux than it is on windows. I see these posts about performance from folks, and I have to remind myself how bad it was when I tried it in windows.
how can you use the GeForce Now linux app on cachyos which is arch based? Requirement show it is only for ubuntu based distros available.

Tested also under CachyOS (arch). It works also there.
