Hi,
an official linux app of GeForce Now is out. It’s in a beta status yet.
Tested it on an ubuntu based distribution:
- Linux Mint 22.3
- Kernel: Linux 6.14.0-37-generic
- Cinnamon 6.6.6
Steps for installation:
- download the file “GeForceNOWSetup.bin“
- open terminal (or right mouse click on file) and make it executable “chmod +x GeForceNOWSetup.bin”
- run the installer “./GeForceNOWSetup.bin“
- a new shortcut to start the app is created in the startmenu “Nvidia GeForce Now (Flatpak)“
- (optional) check if app was installed as flatpak “flatpak list | grep -i geforce“
Runs smoothly without problems. Not noticing differences in comparison with the Windows 10/11 app.
Tested with NRFTW Together update.
Have fun.
