- Having a way to make the Pestilence Spread meter round down to 0 from ~5% if there are no enemies in 20 meter radius. Running around with .01% remaining and being unable to find an enemy for like 10 minutes is a bit demoralizing:
- Having enemy indicators similar to how you indicate the location of the Plague Zone boss but for all enemies in the plague zone similar to crucible. If you’re worried that players will have a hard time distinguishing from boss icon, just make boss icon bigger and make it yellow or red. - would also help mitigate the issue I bring up in the point above.
- Allow us to consume plague ichor to scale the plague zone level to max level - making the game harder and giving better rewards or at least better progress toward clearing Pestilence Spread. Since plague ichor becomes redundant after getting all the watcher upgrades anyway this could be a good use for it.
- Add an invisible plague wall here (The Black Trench):
That boss puts too much goo on the ground and can easily throw you out of the arena which is annoying as it resets the fight completely since he regains health while you try to run/swim back into the fighting zone. Losing progress to that of all things is extremely annoying, and it’s hard to gather if that’s intended by design. Alternatively just move that boss to Darak’s arena which seems like a better suited option for this plague zone’s boss anyway.
Agree, the most difficult part is finding the enemies, not defeating them.
It also doesn’t help that no good loot ever drops, even when you max out difficulty.
It’s not fun starting an infected zone, to spend 10-20 min just searching everywhere for the mobs, it’s the boss the and loot that is fun, not searching for mobs
I feel like some of the loot in infected zones is actually really good but there’s nothing really that I got that made me want to swap out my current setup. If they had special uncraftable affixes that could only be FOUND on items or at least better tier “found” affixes (max exalt on crafted affix being like 40% and then max exalt on found affix being 20% more), then there would be a reason to grind for gear. I guess it’s a bit similar to Greater Affix system in D4 but that would make players grind and seek out better gear since crafting system right now is a bit too OP and too deterministic for ARPG players to enjoy it imo.
