Yeah, I can’t tell you how many times I went into an area and rolled back because I thought some strange new blob-wolf was coming at me.
Time to go back and play with guns
always! you can always receive that armor from Captain
what? for real? i never got any at all? Was that some sort of bonus that just applied for some poeple?
The respec price is perfect. Matches the game theme, and now I will be hoarding the fallen embers instead of selling them all for extra cash early in the game. Can’t wait to try these out.
It’s Early Access you’re not getting a new zone after only a month and they’re not doing zone-by-zone updates but a set of them for each major Update
An extremely successful patch. Thank you and keep up the good work!
Gems were also Nerfed but not added to the Patch Notes?
Balance:
- Nerfed Throw runes
- Reduced Poise Damage on all Throw runes
- Reduced Damage on Ice Throw Rune
- Nerfed Focus Regeneration enchant curve so that it no longer generates too much Focus too quickly
- Focus Regeneration enchantment no longer drops with Gloves and now only drops with Helmets
- This includes enchanting items at Eleanor
- Falling Sky and Woodland Protector’s initial item levels were set too high and have been lowered to the intended levels
While i agree with allowing all weapons to be equipped. I feel there should be a stronger penalty than lower damage: the motivation to respec is removed partially if any build can use any weapon.
What i propose is making the player “encumbered” if the minimum scaling stats are not achieved. Thus allowing for testing, but not abusing of multiple runes.
Speaking of which. Runes ignore weight, therefore i propose only 2 rune slots work on weapons that have NOT had their attribute minimums met. Therefore again, someone cant abuse low damage high rare rune level gold items for a broken build. This will only extend the player base, as souls game do this by motivating players to make multiple builds, respecs to test them against each other. Some weapons and runes, even w a 90% nerf in damage are still broken asf when slotted with 2 other weapons in combo
I just tried some of the new settings for performance improvement, and i have to say, i can finally play with stable >60 FPS.
Thx for that! Great job.
I only feel like there is some sort of Filter now on the game. Seems a bit more dusty or foggy, even tho i could pump up other graphics settings.
Was that intended with adding dust and wind effects? maybe just a temporary weather thing? (haven’t had rain yet)
Can you make a post with a screenshot in Wicked Bug Reporting? I’ll take a look
Damage nerf is pretty severe right now with negative scaling – have you been able to make any viable or even useful builds with it?
So i did. Thank you Graphics seem foggy or dusty after Patch 2
Cinematics were incredible even before this patch.
Seriously, your art team and audio guys are the most incredible teams I’ve seen in a long time, for any game.
yes that is exactly what i mean. first thing i noticed after the patch. I linked your screenshots in my bug report too. But i am not sure if it is a bug or if it is intentional. Could be some sort of overused lighting effect, seems like “god rays” are now just over everything when light falls in.
I think the patch nerfed values of health regeneration on parry, but no such thing is mentioned in the notes.
Is this intended or accidental ?
Go easy on options like reassigning skill points and being able to equip everything. The game must be a bit punishing! This can’t just be tied to enemies or bosses.
This looks like something stupid as Volumetric Lightning to me. It is really annoying, but the resolution is simple, they just need to let us customize the graphics settings so we can turn things off that are stupid or we dislike.
Excellent work in this patch!! My steam deck no longer crashes due to overheating when playing. Sooo many great additions and improvements. Keep it up!
