I’m unsure if this matters, I apologize in advance. I have 7800x3d paired with a 7900xtx by Sapphire. I’m able to use fluid motion frames I’m not sure how. I got by patches. From 150 to now 300fps in this game. Is this possible?
For me the problem with the inventory is that when I pick tab I get to choose between massive increase in power (ring) and quality of life (more resources).
I don’t like the fact that trade-off is between two different aspects of the game. Especially that the items used for those upgrades are so rare.
I think that resource tab and ring/weapon tab are not the same thing at all.
Resource tab, just like stash in the house, should be something I can just purchase with gold (if at all and ideally at the start of the game from Fillmore) . It makes more sense from gameplay perspective, but also just ideologically I don’t understand how drinking magic elixir allows me to have a bigger backpack I should just be able to buy one
Wonderful, thank you for the quick updates.
I have high hopes for this game.
Please fix the bug with vsync from the Nvidia panel. The game doesn’t launch when it’s enabled.
One suggestion would be to increase the durability consumption of the axe, pickaxe and shovel from 1 to 2, so instead of 6 blows to cut the tree, it would only be 3. This way we would have greater agility, not only when cutting trees, but also when mining. and dig. This game’s exploration and map integration is something I’ve never seen in 30 years of gaming. Simply incredible and for me it’s one of the best of all time. I can’t wait for a PS5 version to come out so I can play with better quality than on my PC. Congratulations to the entire team.
I am afraid this hotfix is awful, I have long, long very long loading time to get the main menu. And when I start the game after another long time I only hear the sound of the game but the screen is in black.
I applied for the sneak preview bonus on the first day of the game’s release, but I deleted the archive and now there’s no way to apply for it again. Is it a one-time thing?
This is a great step towards removing durability
I saw many people with an intel Iris Xe that have the problem that there are red stains all over the image. After the patch it’s still there. Hope you can fix it soon or explain why that is so
The carpenter is the one who always sells fishing rods (no need to worry about random stock), if you’re still looking.
FMF is frame generation which works at the driver level; it doesn’t require support from the game. However, because it doesn’t have that support, such as motion vectors from the previous frame, it’s not that great; it can cause microstutters, and it will increase latency. It’s more of a feature for older cards, definitely not your flagship model.
I had crashes before this latest patch, but now its litterally every 10min. On the Steam Deck, btw, is there suggestions for settings to change?
The problem is that the game sometimes consumes more RAM than the steam deck has to give, so it you find a way to create some virtual RAM, it would be of some help.
I lowered the render scale down to 60% , turn off motion blur, turned off DRS, as well as HDR, and it at least appears to have helped.
Update: Crashed on the next load screen after I wrote this haha
Yeah, It helps, as much RAM you can economize is better and the chances of craches to happen will decrease.
Didn’t notice any improvements for performance on my AMD 7800X3D with a Geforce 2080ti.
Hi there, I’m with Ryzen 3 3200g and PowerColor AMD Radeon RX 6650 XT, so as you can see my CPU is bottleneck here. AFMF helps alot!
Some background info: The patch #2 was best performance improvement for me (have not tried patch #5, got installed #6 already, still have to try it) but with patch #4 I got huge quality and performance improvement using AMD Fluid Motion frames and Radeon Anti-Lag enabled but it is important to set 2 in-game settings in order AFMF to work correctly: full screen exclusive mode and v-sync disabled (actually I don’t remember where I read about disabling v-sync). Hope this helps Have a nice day!
