With this new update now live and my progress confirmed not to be reset, should I assume there won’t be any resets at all? Or will progress still be wiped for everyone once the game leaves early access?

yes they will do a full reset before the big v1.0 release - have confirmed this many times in different channels : >
Thank you for the quick answer. I was hoping there wouldn’t be a reset so I could resume my adventure without starting over, but it seems that’s not gonna happen. 
i like to create tragic backstories to deal with loss in games.
for example, u could say that all your cerim went on a hiking holiday, tried to parkour up some old ruins and accidentally fell off a cliff

when i deleted my beloved weapon by accident while trying to remove a rune, i said “the character couldn’t deal with her loss and went underground to become an undead frost wizard” then deleted the character and rerolled…. a frost mage
