Can you increase the parry window please , in a FPP or TPP we can clearly see the enemy attack and parry but in iso view it is not as feasible to have such tight window as the enemy is visibly small and kind of hard to see the exact telegraph attack or else can you add zoom in scale, thanks
Parry timing feels okay to me. The risk/reward also feels good. Parry? Stagger and lots of focus. Miss a parry? Get bodied. This is fair in my eyes.
I think if anything they just need to look at animations on certain enemies to make attacks a little more clear or telegraphed.
Camera needs reverted back to the way it was so you can see the apex of the attack clearly imo.
Also anything is risky when you don’t know what you’re doing. You will fail learning something new, that’s just experience, we don’t need to remove any reward for learning mechanics.
That said because of the camera issues it’s very unintuitive ATM unlike it was before.
I find it harder to parry after the Breach, I can’t quite put my finger on it. I used to be able to parry on reflexes but after the Breach, if I don’t know the exact timing of the attack, I almost always miss it on reflex.
For me it breaks down in the crucible because it heavily discourages parry.
In the overworld, you fail a parry, OK, you die, you get right back where you were.
In the crucible, you just wasted 15+ minutes of your time, ruined your run, and waste 20-30+ food items worth of resources due to whiffing a parry and got 2 shot by the Echo Knight.
The whole of a single death causing the end of the run completely discourages taking risks and learning the fight and instead going to either farm up a build that can straight up one shot Cyvion and before the Breach ruined them, a draintank lifesteal build to weather through his wonky hitboxes.
