My long topic of feedbacks, reported bugs, and remarks

Hi,

See below a long list of points, sorted by Bugs / Requests / remarks, after more than 60 hours of gameplay.

Bugs :

  • (after the early accesspatch 1) audio mix is sometime broken, chopped, glitched, some ambient sounds totally disappear like the rain : the first time it appears for me it’s after the patch during big rain at night…

  • (after the early accesspatch 1) sorting items does not work, the function is here, the button does something but nothing happens in the inventory.

  • visual glitch on several textures on several armors, outfits, cloths:

  • (increased after the early accesspatch 1) visual glitch on fire: I saw one glitched firecamp, now I see glitched torch in the crucible after the patch, and after the patch, each bomb trap or throwed bomb are glitched:

  • there is a bug on the texture of the sun painted on the ground in one of the houses: the drawing is superimposed on certain pieces of furniture (e.g. bed, storage, etc.)

  • the white wolves have physics glitch after death (tornado weird random movement…)

  • some fx sounds are sometimes missing during action : digging hole or mineral, or collecting stones with the shovel

  • serious lag during special attack especially the firing spin special attack of the cimber’s peak when used on several enemies, especially in the Nameless Pass area

  • serious performance problem (fps drop, lags), inside the Nameless Pass area, in the upper parts…

  • plants have display problems (flashing, texture bug) after improving Caroline’s inn

  • glitch when I remove a storage box (fulled of item) in the house and no enough space in my own inventory: the item pils on the ground is glitched (black thing like for the fire glitch)

  • still this annoying depth of field fx on things and water falls which are too vaporous, problem of render of this kind of falling water. At 200% rendering it’s better, but with FPS halved

  • some invisible wall that block the character: when I want to leave a grotto and no wall here, I have to do a dodge to cross this invisible wall…

  • sometimes the item, collected by digging a hole, (or collected with the shovel) falls into the void (on the cliffs) so it is impossible to harvest it

Requests:

  • be able to remove gems, we need a jeweler in town

  • to can duplicate weapon or item

  • to can re-spec skills

  • to can upgrade the level of the rings like any equipment

  • upgrading and improving building / shops are very tedious : reducing the required items’ amounts will be welcomed

  • upgrading and improving inventories are very tedious : reducing the required items’ amounts will be welcomed

  • to can reduce or remove the fire damage when we go to water, dodge/roll in the water: it’s illogical to continue to burn if we swim in the water for exemple. And to loot or can concoct some antidote potions to remove bad fx

  • to can compare immediatly the worn item with the new item in the inventory

  • photo mode (remove UI for screenshoting)

Remarks:

  • when eleanor and wittacker have their own shop, the old area feels empty, new items / things to fill this place will be welcomed…

  • why 3 rings and not 2 rings + 1 necklace? (I am okay with 4 rings and 2 necklaces too lol)

  • a real problem with overlapping actions: the Y button allows you to walk along walls, doors, etc. Every time I want to go into one of my houses, instead of going in, I walk along the door, it’s extremely painful. Same, every time I want to enter the inventory of a chest, the action disappears in favor of the one which asks me to remove the chest. There is a predominance of useless or less useful actions. I suggest you remove the function of walking along the door of our houses: I think that in this specific case it is of no use. For the items in the house, well it remains important to can remove them quickly, but at a moment, we need to validate the items’ disposition to remove or reduce the presence of the “remove button”.

  • a real problem with pulling horizontally on certain attacks: don’t take perspective and inclination into account. If an enemy is below, we shoot above his head. With the bow it’s ok, so, for exemple, the special attack (fire spire) of the Cilmber’s peak, it has to behave in the same way, to be able to throw it above or below…

  • trend and risk to have the problem of “damage on friday” like in Diablo4: too many damages type, or unclear situations. For exemple when we add a gem which adds electrical damages on a weapon which has already fire damage, visually we don’t have the impression to have fire and electrical damages in the same time.

  • some aspects are similar but with two terms. For exemple : longevity et repair, it’s the same thing, no ? Why two terms ? Increase the longevity and repair it’s the same action.

  • some items have different thumbnail but same asset in game, le “hurleur de bois” shield has a nice skin in the thumbnail and it’s a classic wood shield without this skin when we wear it. It’s very disappointing…

  • I’m used to realism in this game about little things, I’m surprised not to see the wheels turning when the elevator goes up or down in town…

Last thing, and not least, I don’t understand the different graphics modes and I regret this “console” approach, I would have liked to have more settings to customize the graphics and especially to know what I am modifying like in all other games PC: if I see the difference in FPS, when I go from “best quality” to “performance” mode I don’t see any graphical change on the screen… It’s just a drop-down list with nothing behind it or there is really changes? I’m surprised because the change is immediate, whereas in most games, there is a real loading time
