I understand that having limited inventory space introduces a flow to the game that pushes players back to town on a somewhat regular basis and that it’s intended.
It also makes sense to me that you might have to stop your run and go back after collecting a certain number of armor or weapon pieces. Deciding which gear to keep can be somewhat interesting. Different gear pieces also lend themselves to being put into different chests in our houses.
But for crafting materials like copper and threads, worrying about this really just feels like a chore. I propose that the crafting inventory should have unlimited spaces. It’s not fun to be in the middle of a zone, 10 minutes from the last whisper and you need to stop and decide what type of thread/wood/coal/animal parts you want to keep. Just let me scoop all of those types of things up without worrying about space, and add them to a list on my character with a number next to it.
I’d say this might also be good to have for uncooked foods.
With 3 tiers of resources and maxed out bags, this is already an issue, but once more resources are added, this will only become more of a nightmare.
Let me have fun exploring and playing the game instead of having to stop and stare at different ores in my inventory!!
