Main characteristics of the weapon

Hello! I’d like to make a suggestion about expanding the mechanics of primary weapon stats. Your system is reminiscent of Elden Ring, but without the depth it offered. When I see the “Faith” stat on a weapon, I expect to see corresponding improvements, some kind of holy damage or something related to Faith. Currently, we only get increased weapon damage when upgrading its primary stat. I strongly encourage you to consider deepening this mechanic. I would be happy to be able to change these stats on non-legendary weapons, as was possible in Elden Ring, to further customize the weapon to your playstyle.

the attribute system will be removed and switched with a soft class system. in short: when you equip a dagger you can skill rogue skills, when you use a sword you skill into knight etc. more on that also here: First Preview of our Class System

Wow, it’s nice that you are developing this issue, I’m very glad.
This won’t be a choice when creating a character (I mean class)? It’s just that I really liked that your game doesn’t tie me to any specific class at the beginning and I can choose my style along the way.

nope, it wont be like in diablo where you chose a class and have to stick with it. you can switch, mix and match as you go and find new equipment. it also removes the issue with re-spec, since you do not need attribute points for that cool new weapon you found.

so that will be gone too at some point :slight_smile:
