Just note it looks like it happened on mutliple Chests (Food, Ressources, Crafting items) at the same time but one time i think… i picked up this chests to move them on “The Manor” i just bought.
I agree that was not the best way to transfer items with a mule called Ned Stark with low power of Ichor…
Guys, reading this post, just be sure to get enough place in your inventory, that s the best way.
Or a as suggestion to the developers, just allow us to pick up the chest and keep the items inside… (may be with a special icon showing there is something inside)
Hello. I am a Korean gamer who enjoys this game. I found a bug and I would like to inform you.
I decided to move to a 30 silver house because I don’t have space to put chests in my 25 silver house. (The houses are all small in general. And the size of the 40 chests is too big.) So I picked up all the chests. Then the items inside them fell into the bags and onto the floor. Then I went to the 30 silver house and started installing the chests and furniture and picking up the bags to move the items. Then I realized that quite a few bags were missing.
I don’t know when these bags disappeared. When they fell onto the floor? Or when I went out of the house? Anyway, there is a bug where the bags that should be on the floor disappear. Because of this bug, all the bags that contained my weapons and rings disappeared. Please fix this critical bug.
Have a good day.
I don’t have visual proof , but I lost about 600 apples during a housemoving a week ago.
They dropped unto the ground because my inventory was full. Something glitched and when I got back to the drop after emptying my inventory, I could look inside the loot pile, but not extract the apples anymore. I relogged to main menu and boom, they were gone!
I know it’s Early Access, but this is one of those progression-breaking bugs that’s really disheartening. I was trying to move storage chests and furniture in my house, which is already a massive pain because the game empties all inventory onto the floor, and my power went out. When I relaunched the game, I’d lost everything - 20 hours of crafting materials, gems, runes, etc., as well as all of the expensive furniture I’d been in the process of moving.
I know this is an edge case, but this kind of single-save mechanism can be really disrespectful to the player when edge cases occur and there’s no possibility of rolling back. Yes, a fix could be coded for inventory being saved when items are on the ground inside the house…but simply keeping 2-3 autosaves rather than 1 would easily address the damage from this, too, and probably a whole lot of other potential issues.
Something similar happened to me when moving chests to a new house. I picked up three chests and any items in them which my inventory could not accommodate were placed on the ground (in the form of blue shimmering bags). I went to go farm some materials (a bit under an hour) to build some more chests, and when I returned to the house, the bags on the floor were all gone.
Is there any way to retrieve the lost items? What causes said items to disappear - is it a question of the time spent on the floor, of the character leaving the zone, of quitting to main menu?
