Lost my realm progress

Logged in today and had local online conflict, I picked online, and the realm became some progress way back.

I’ve been playing online almost everyday. It’s just for the last a couple of days I didn’t log in.

Hm I need to verify my email before downloading, could you adjust it so that that is not nessecary?

Sean I was wondering, did you mean your characters level went back, or your Realm progression? The latter would entail your quest lines for example have been reset to a previous stage?

Oh, let me double-check the file share
The character level is good, so are the items on the character.
It’s the Realm progression. It got reverted to way back, not even recent. For that specific Realm, I’ve finished the story line, and started farming the echo, and had two houses, lots of items, etc. But after yesterday I chose online, it was reverted to back to half story line, only one house, etc.

Did you get a Steam cloud prompt choosing which save file to go on with after hotfix 8?

I’m not sure if that is steam cloud. It’s in the game, when I tried to start after choosing the character and realm. It gives the conflict asking to pick either local or remote. I chose remote.

Hey Sean, can you confirm if this is an online/shared realm or local/offline realm?

The instructions were only for online/shared realms.

I have not set anything specific. I didn’t set anything specific when creating the realm. I’ve not shared realm. The game was showing online. I’ve been playing solo.

I have not received any updates further.
I guess I’m not getting my realm progress back, right?

If there is silence, that usually means the problem is still under investigation :wink: .

  • Either the cause has been found but not a solution (yet)
  • Or a partial cause/solution has been found but they need to close every gap
  • the solution is being considered rolled out manually or via a hotfix (which is playerbase wide)
