Is the Crucible a pastime? If yes, make it balanced

Hi, I bought a copy on steam at launch…I don’t like rogue-like mechanics but, aside from this, most of the “Crucible behaviour” is irregular:

  1. Some objects or ambient elements or the camera doesn’t show your enemies…If your enemies see you, why can’t you see them?
  2. When an enemy forces you into a corner, you almost always get stuck, with no way to free yourself or get out…
  3. Why do you only have access to the Seneschal between the fourth and fifth chambers?

I honestly don’t understand the requirement to insert a roguelike mechanic like the Crucible before the availability of the final content: Did you considered the frustrating repetitiveness of such a choice?

The crucible is not part of the main story arc, it gives some lore on the Cerim, since Elza study us, but i think thats it.

The other statues will have different gameplays, i think Boss Rush is one, dont know about the others, if that will change, nothing is certain or writen in stone in EA, they put the roguelike in for us to do something while they cooked.

How are the enemies invisible? I dont get that.
Why are you getting yourself in a corner is the question you should make?

Because the Face plate dude, as i like to call that thing, has the possibility to exalt your itens, he will be nerfed with the next update though, it will be harder to exalt, exalted itens are very powerful, i guess putting him outside with Elza would be strange, but you must kill crap to get what he sells anyway.
