- Kill & Loot
- Targeted Crafting
- Buy & Gamble
This poll is about how you like to obtain gear generally. Independent on how it works at the moment, what do you find the most enjoyable way to get gear? (multiple answers allowed)
-
Kill & Loot:
Do you want to go out in the wilderness, kill enemys and loot chests, or work your way through a dungeon (crucible). Then come back with pockets full of various gear, select the most usable stuff and throw the rest into a merchants face. And not actively manipulate the gear much. Then rinse and repeat, and prey for a legendary (pun intended). -
Targeted Crafting:
Do you want to actively select everything about an item. Starting with the base, i.e. the recipe. Then go to the wilds, collect resources, come back and craft it at the city. Then step by step improve the item by actively choosing/changing enchantments, improve base stats, select/change runes/gems…, with the only limitation being the resources you are willing to sacrifice for it. Until you have crafted your own superior item, or until you are working on your next masterpiece. -
Buy & Gamble:
Do you want merchants to have a brimming stack of various items, with or without magic enhancement. So that you only need to select what you need at the moment for the task at hand. Do you want to go to some shady guy in a trenchcoat, give him X silver to get a random enchantment on your sword, and when it turns out bad, throw it back in his face and repeat. And do you want to cheply buy tons of food and usables from a merchant instead of laboriously collect everything. With the only drop that counts being gold.
If you think I forgot something, let me know.
Edit: Poll will be closed after this weekend.
