The game runs fine for a few minutes, but eventually kicks both players to the menu. Occurs on multiple realms.

Where are you playing from? Can you give us any info that might be important?
For example, do you know if there is a timer before the kick back to main menu happens or do you suspect its due to actions in your Realm?

Thank you! Im playing from North America, west coast. It seems to happen most in sacrament, but im not sure exactly what’s causing it.

My friend and I also experienced something very similar where sometimes it seened like the North American servers were just incredibly unstable or something (we were playing from the eastern side of the US).
We didn’t have any mods or anything. I was on Linux he was on Windows if that matters. Most of the time it was fine but yesterday in particular we were playing and every 30 seconds or so I’d get an “attempting to reconnect” screen and he’d lag/have weird movement but no screen then I’d pop back in and he’d kind of resync.

What might help is in coop, to:
- let everyone leave for a few seconds, rejoin
- switch up who connects first
- if one person is experiencing issues more severe, let them try with an VPN active
- Change what server you set your Realm in

Me and a buddy had the same experience. Save validation and Desynch errors. Hopefully this gets fixed, the game would be incredible with this one fix.

My game crashed shortly after reaching level 15. It didn’t completely crash though, it just sent me back to the main startup menu. When i try to load the save the screen goes back then goes back to the main menu. Any ideas on how to fix? Below is a link to the google doc where i uploaded the video of the problem. Towards the end of the video I used the “start from last whisper” option which initially worked but then the game crashed again

Every so often, while playing on a shared realm with my girlfriend who sits 10 feet away from me, my game will be hit with this same recurring issue.
Session Error.
Error = Exception (4)
No apparent reason for it either. She’s on the same realm, connecting through our same LAN. She has no issues and hasn’t ran into any like this so far. Meanwhile I’m over here getting it multiple times a day. It’ll go an hour, 3-4 if I’m lucky. Then it hits. And I’m about 50/50 lucky if I can get back in.
Googling the issue doesn’t come up with any results. Seems like no one else is having this issue?

I will try to help you with this.
Can you first give me access to the files?
To do so:
- Right click the folder/files → share → share (again) → set “Restricted” to “Anyone with the link” and permission on “Viewer”
Did the second crash - after using “continue from last whisper” - happen based on location or just a few seconds after stepping in?

It happened very shortly after stepping in. The game was maybe on for about a second before it crashed again. And I updated the google link so anyone with the link can view, it’s been awhile since I’ve used google docs sorry for the confusion. Heres an updated link just in case.

For further troubleshooting;
- can you enter other Realms normally?
- can you enter the problem Realm with a new character?
- is it a local or shared Realm?

Update: I tried making a new test character and new test world and was able to play just fine. I then had my main character join the test world and everything was fine. I had my test character join my main world, it spawned me in the middle of sacrament and I was able to explore around perfectly fine. When I had my main character go back to my main world though it crashed again. So i’m wondering if its having some kind of issue with loading something in the sewers. It crashed just before the second main boss when you fight him in the sewers. I’ve already attempted to fight him a couple times though so idk why it’s just now having problems with the area

Do you need the entire player and player-prev logs? Because i tried copying and pasting the files into a google doc but they’re each over 900 pages long and the google doc won’t even save which means it won’t let me share access
