I know there are existing topics about this, but it still occurs after patch 3.
I was fighting Echo knight, and the fire element (added by an echo effect) on my cone-shot caused severe lagging.
possible cause: the next fire attack does not renew the previous burning visual effect but adding 1 more instead, causing more and more fire to be added to the target, therefore as the combat goes on the target looks more like the center of the sun, putting severe load on GPU, this effect can be quickly onset my rune/skill like cone shot where its multiple hits are counted individually.
