Like most in this forum I love the game! Otherwise I would not be here trying to contribute.
What do I love?
- I love the trust you display in the player. You trust me to explore the world, you trust me to experiment and have fun. I love that! Many games today are so anxious for you to have fun they throw stuff in your face and it just results in over-load and kills the fun for me. Thank you!
- The art style! It’s just a pleasure to play! I love all of it!
- The combat, I’ve been longing for a “slower” and more deliberate combat. I can’t wait to see what you have in store for us with “more strategic runes”.
- The exploration, I just love searching for and finding all the nooks and crannies you’ve created for us!
The list can be made a lot longer but the above are the main things for me.
What puzzles me?
- The housing economy, after just a few hours I could afford “The Manor”. I never got to live in a cramped hovel and then progressively get bigger and nicer housing. Could the nicer housing be unlocked through story progress? On the other hand who doesn’t HATE moving? The tempo of acquiring new housing would have to be just right, or there could be a moving firm in the game…

- The duration of potions, I use potions to get an upper hand against bosses. I would prefer if they lasted about the same time as a boss fight, ~5minutes. I’m too old to remember to pop new potions during a fight.
- The weight of NPC arms seem to be a bit off, when they idle? They sometimes look a bit like a “tube man”/”skydancer”. Especially after deliberate animations in dialogues.
- Where does Ellsworth live!? Most of the important characters live or belong somewhere but poor Ellsworth doesn’t seem to have a place? Or I have just not found it.
Finally, I want to say that I really liked the Community Q&A with Thomas, it made me feel confident that you will create a game that you will love which means we will too! ![]()
